De Nagmaalhuijs, Prince Albert

This beautiful home was built in 1880 as a "Nagmaalhuijs" translated house of communion and located directly behind the NG Church. It has been lovingly restored without compromising the traditional Karoo vernacular. The inviting front stoep has benches to enjoy and there is a large impressive great room with traditional high Oregon pine ceilings and floors and a unique kitchenette. The bedroom is beautifully appointed and a separate bathroom offers a Victorian bath, shower and basin.

De Bruijn Huisie - Contemporary Karoo Escape

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the heart of Prince Albert, De Bruijn Huisie is a restored heritage schoolhouse reimagined as a stylish Karoo escape. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.
