De Nagmaalhuijs, Prince Albert

This beautiful home was built in 1880 as a "Nagmaalhuijs" translated house of communion and located directly behind the NG Church. It has been lovingly restored without compromising the traditional Karoo vernacular. The inviting front stoep has benches to enjoy and there is a large impressive great room with traditional high Oregon pine ceilings and floors and a unique kitchenette. The bedroom is beautifully appointed and a separate bathroom offers a Victorian bath, shower and basin.

The Orchard Cottage

Located on the verge of town, you will find The Orchard Cottage, a tranquil self-catering cottage with onsite secure parking and a private entrance. The solar-powered cottage offers a queen-size bed, small single bed; en-suite bathroom with a shower and kitchenette with a microwave, induction plate and Nespresso machine and wifi. Beautiful & comfortable heritage cottage in the historic town of Prince Albert. Quiet and peaceful surrounds, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
