Secluded hideaway in the “Venice of Detroit”! Perched right on the historic Detroit canal system, this urban tiny house is a cozy retreat for couples or solo adventurers. Whether you’re here to kayak, cast a line, or just kick back with a book and a breeze, you’ll find plenty to love. Located in one of Detroit’s most unique—and real—neighborhoods. This is a revitalization zone with character: some blight, sure, but also a strong sense of community, and a refreshingly diverse, welcoming vibe.

Adoor-able cabin behind our urban farmhouse (Brother Nature Farmhouse on AirBnB). Furnished with a vintage look, this rustic cabin can sleep 1-3 adults or 2 adults 2 kids in the loft. Shared kitchen, laundry and 2 shared bathrooms are 20 feet away in the main house. No A/C, but there are fans and a high ceiling. Even though this is a farm with ducks, chickens and dogs running around, we are walking distance to restaurants in Corktown and under a mile to downtown concert venues and arenas.

A short path into the woods leads to a charming pond. *Pets must be added to reservation.

WHAT IS LAKE LUNA CABIN.... Our cabin was hand built with Oak logs from the property and Yellow Pine logs from Montana and Wyoming. Go fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing (bring your own), exploring Enjoy watching deer, turkey, pheasants and nesting bald eagles. Hoses too! Plenty of frogs to catch (and release) and turtles to view. You will also find nesting Eastern Bluebirds around the property. Ducks and gees of all types visit the property. Enjoy the water fountain as well!

Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms, queen-size bed in a master bedroom, twin over full size bunk bed making it ideal for families or small groups. Including living room, kitchenette and bathroom. Whether you’re looking to lay back or simply enjoy a peaceful escape, let the sound of nature soothe your soul.

Escape to our cozy Bunkie — a peaceful retreat for two. Enjoy crisp cotton sheets, and a fluffy Canadian down duvet. Unplug, slow down, and soak in the charm of simple rural living. The bunkie comes equipped with a toaster and fridge, kettle and French press coffee maker. There are no showering facilities. There is a composting toilet available in our bathroom bunkie that is situated right beside the main bunkie. Breakfast can be served for an additional $20 per person.
