"Tiny House" Cabin at Spring Lake Campground

The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Kitchen service for 2, basic cooking essentials, towels & bedding. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.

Includes canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after the first 2 ppl, incl. visitors. 3 night minimum w/ Fri or Sat. 2 night min. for Sun-Thurs. Wonderful riverfront home located just south of Castle Rock on the Rock River in Oregon, IL. Enjoy beautiful views of the river while enjoying the heated pool (open May 15th through Oct 10th). Enjoy fishing off the lower yard. Must love cats as there are friendly outdoor cats! The Oregon area has plenty to do including exploring the nearby state parks, climbing Castle Rock, visiting John Deere's home, antiquing, tubing and boating down the river & enjoying the quaint area shops & restaurants.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This is a fully furnished brand new condo with a great kitchen area. We supply all of the dishes and cookware you need to enjoy some home cooked meals. There is a tv in bedroom and living room area for your enjoyment. Washer and dryer is supplied. Great for the weekend guest or the traveling worker who wants a quite home away from home. Sterling has parks and workout areas close by. We are located within a few miles of grocery.

LHOTP (Lil House On The Prairie)

Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from.
