Great house to host all 13 of us who were in town for a friends wedding! Lots of space for each of us and was very peaceful place by the water. Jim was very responsive if we had a question. It was very clean and well taken care of home. If we ever made our way back down that way, we would stay again!

Bee Happy was an awesome place! It’s very clean, updated, well stocked everywhere. The hosts and housekeeper really thought of everything down to the smallest details which meant alot…chocolates on the bed, kcups, personal note & bottle of wine….really sweet & thoughtful! The family was comfortable and it made for a quick trip away that we truly enjoyed!!!

Un véritable coin de paradis, loin du tumulte, mais proche des commodités. L’endroit est juste parfait, les levers et couchers de soleil sont visibles depuis la maison. On s’y sent bien tout de suite et la maison est tellement accueillante qu’on a envie de prolonger le séjour !

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!

Stephanie communicated clearly and quickly. The location is extremely convenient to Main Street. The unit is a bit older, but updated and so impressively clean. Check in and out instructions were to the point, which made them easy to follow. If I ever have a reason to go back to New Roads, I would definitely stay here!

Loved my time here. The house was super clean, mattress was very comfortable, coffee really good, hot shower, and an awesome backyard to hang out with my dog. I really had a relaxing time here. Kenneth and Nette were fantastic hosts. Highly recommend staying here!!

Just what we needed for a one night stay, but offered so much more for a longer stay. Loved that a slow cooker and air fryer were there to use. It’s also great having the washer and dryer available for longer stays.
