Pentwater Pines Cabin- a wooded retreat

Welcome to our beautiful cabin in the woods- the perfect 'Up North' retreat for families who want beach & nature! You can comfortably sleep multiple families with plenty of privacy & kid friendly setup. The cabin is set in the perfect location, minutes from downtown Pentwater & Mears State Park. It's walking distance to Bass Lake (boat launch), close to Lake MI access points, and nearby Silver Lake & Ludington.Unwind and grill out on our wrap around deck, soak in the hot tub, or have a campfire.

Manistee River cabin

A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

Near rivers & lakes for fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking & biking trails, Big M, North Country Trail, snowmobile trails, cross country & downhill skiing, wineries, farm markets, historic downtown Manistee, Little River Casino, golfing, and less than 10 miles from the Nordhouse Dunes and sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Just steps from the Little Manistee River within a small fishing community is a northern Michigan getaway with the style of a lodge retreat, and the comforts of home. Host family and friends for billiards, board games, and conversation by the fireplace. Curl up on a big cushy chair, and look out at the river with a cup of coffee. Bring your buddies to fish, hike or bike on the Big M Trail, and explore the Manistee National Forest. It’s the perfect place to do everything, or nothing at all.

Little Cabin in the Woods

Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

This small cozy two bedroom cabin features an industrial style decor that incorporates multiple metals, woods, and various textures to create a comfortable atmosphere for any travel purpose. Bedrooms feature twin over full bunk beds. Full bath features tub/shower combo, leathered granite counter top with copper sink and unique newsprint walls. Kitchen features open pipe shelving, copper sink, and is fully stocked.

We now have WI-FI! This cabin has been totally rebuilt, and if you are a new, or returning guest, we think you will love it! We have added a bedroom, and a bigger bathroom, without losing the charm that all of our previous guests loved so much! If you love the outdoors, stay here!. Step out your front door into the beautiful Manistee National Forest. Every season there is a way to enjoy the peaceful forest!
