“The Midwest Charmer”: Sleeps 8

This home is perfect for professionals! One bedroom (not the en-suite) can be set up as two separate single beds or together as a king. Just let us know your preference. You’ll have access to the entire house, including the two-car garage, fenced backyard, and all the cozy living spaces. Spend your evening having a backyard BBQ or taking a leisurely walk around the neighborhood. Guests consistently comment on the comfortable beds, featuring Egyptian cotton sheets for a truly restful night.

The Blue Door Cabin

If you want a retreat where you can sleep in, slow down and savor nature's beauty, the Blue Door Cabin, tucked in surprisingly hilly oak and hickory woods, with a beautiful view of the pond, is your destination. Within two hours from Kansas City, Tulsa, Joplin or Wichita, and only 4 miles from Chanute Kansas, this preserved and revived cabin offers an easy getaway for city dwellers in need of a very affordable anniversary weekend, study or solitude retreat, or family hiking and fishing trip.

Miner's Loft-Downtown Pittsburg

This downtown 1910 loft is in the heart of Pittsburg and close to everything. Walkable to most bars and restaurants and you can hit up the local coffee shops in the morning. There is a meat market across the street and a brewery. Private onsite, well-lit parking in the back of the property, a private deck and front views of Broadway. This loft is 1,600 sq. ft and sleeps 4 comfortably and has room for a few more on the large sectional in the living room and the couch in the lodge room.

Sunset Country.

Sunset Country is set on three peaceful acres and sleeps 9 comfortably with three bedrooms and a full, finished basement. Conveniently located South of Parsons KS, one mile East of 59 Highway, you have easy access to local attractions, venues, and activities. Enjoy mornings on the back deck as the sun rises, and the open spaces for unwinding and letting go. The side patio is the perfect place to relax, daydream, have memorable conversations and enjoy beautiful sunsets by the fire pit.

Silver Fox Cottage

Cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath country home, ground-level, located 2 miles north of Parsons on Hwy 59. Cottage sets back in the trees. Circle drive and extra parking for boats, trailers, etc. Central heat and air, Sleeps up to 5 people. Covered patio with grill and outdoor furniture. Enjoy the evening sunset on the patio or the morning sunrise on the front porch with swing and rockers. Hunters and fishermen welcome. All household items furnished. Any special needs, contact owner.

Cozy at Osage Ridge

Come relax with the family! Serene country view with a sandbox and playset out back. Farmyard friends in the surrounding pastures. This house is new along with everything in it! Sleeps 4 with twin bed seen off living area, and a soft, wide couch for an extra sleeping spot. If you’d like to feed chickens, pet and feed the goats, or visit with the cows, please give host notice for possible arrangements! Fresh eggs from the cluckers provided! Come enjoy a night on our farm!

Duck Camp

Duck Camp is a great place for hunters, travelers and families. The location is family-friendly and this area is widely known for its whitetail deer, duck and turkey hunting. Duck Camp offers a peaceful country feel. Inside Duck Camp is one bedroom with a queen bed and a loft with two additional queen beds. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The property is for lodging only; there is no hunting allowed. Pets are allowed, but we ask they not be on any of the furniture.

Sky Blue Stays

Welcome to small town Altamont. This two bedroom can sleep 6 with two queen beds and a pull out couch. This newly renovated space has an open kitchen with a gas range with access to laundry. There is plenty of parking with one covered parking spot. Smart tv and Wi-fi is included with your stay. This stay is not ADA compliant as there is a small bathroom and stairs to enter. This property is non smoking, this includes the property not just the house.

It's just a short walk to the public library, and you will pass a beautiful little park, complete with a historic caboose, on the way! Out the kitchen window you can see a basketball court, and just a little further away, a skate park. Come enjoy the calmer pace of a Kansas hometown!

Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
