I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pinewood Madurai, and it was a delightful experience. The property is nestled in a serene location, surrounded by nature, which provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The villa itself was cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful garden that added to the charm.

The place was really clean, well maintained and felt like home. The basic essentials and utensils were already in the house so it was easy for us to manage around. The host was friendly and responded immediately whenever needed and also recommended places. Thank you Hezekiah for the experience.

Spacious, spotless, and well-maintained family home in a safe residential area of Madurai. The house was much larger than I needed—it could easily accommodate a family of 4 to 6—and yet it is exceptionally well priced. Check-in was smooth, with Paathama assisting me from a call the day before my arrival all the way through to check-out. She even helped me communicate with local auto drivers when Google Translate wasn’t enough. Overall, definitely a place worth considering for your stay in Madurai.

We stayed for one night . It is very spacious space in the middle of the city . All the places are nearby and one can easily get auto/taxi etc . Very peaceful stay . You can purchase groceries and things for kitchen like milk etc on walkable distance . Mr. Somnath is a really nice host and was very helpful during our stays. He helped me to purchase groceries and all by coming along with for the same . The room , hall and the kitchen all are very neat and clean and well maintained. Everything is as it is listed . I will definitely recommend others if you really want to be in home away from home .

this place really nice to stay and very beautiful surroundings. felt like home and comfortable with everything. the locations near to Madurai town. we really enjoyed and my baby comfortable with this house. she enjoyed max with the beautiful nature morning and evening sunrise.. vijay mom really helpful and his brother too.. the best place we found at Madurai. surely will stay again for next trip.. recommend.. thanks to brother vijay and his family members. with loves saravanan from Malaysia.

Sam is one of the best hosts we've ever had! He went above and beyond,even ensured our safe arrival at 3am and made us feel at home with a warm breakfast. Despite the language barrier in the city, he made sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. The check-in/out was seamless and everything was clearly mentioned in the documents shared so that we do not get confused related to anything, and the stay was perfect. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommended!

I would rate this property 10/5! It’s exceptionally neat and clean. The bedspreads and towels provided are of great quality. Every item in the house is spotless. It was a very peaceful stay with no disturbances, traffic, or pollution. The caretaker was responsive and helpful. The house has all the necessary amenities. I would recommend this place, especially if you have your own car, as it is located on the outskirts of Madurai and you’ll need to pay a toll each time you visit the city.

Day One's Original - Service Apartment

The place was , as shown in pictures. It is a one bedroom service apartment with Lavish interiors and well designed on inside. Host, Mr Agnimitra is respectful and helpful. His manager Mr Abhishek is very courteous, gives prompt response and takes personal care to address any issues. We are grateful to both for arranging a wonderful Darshan in Garbha Greha at Meenakshi Temple. Market is not very nearby but caretaker services were made available to procure groceries and vegetables. Power outage was there for almost full day affecting kitchen since induction will not work on inverter. Meenakshi temple is 9 km away. Dedicated parking is available on the ground floor of property. It is suggested to provide toiletries for better experience particularly when market is far. Also would be good to have pressure cooker for Indian style cooking. Overall very good experience and recommended .

From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and warm hospitality from Hamsa's father in law Mr. Prem sir. The homestay is beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What truly sets Hamsa's Place apart is the exceptional hospitality of the host family. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure I had a memorable experience. The Kitchen was quite big and well equipped with items. .Online food partners can easily deliver food and you must try local delicacies. The location of the homestay is also ideal. It is situated in a quiet residential area, yet within easy reach of all the major attractions.I highly recommend Hamsa's Place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay.

Our stay here was excellent and peaceful. Good restaurants were around the corner and easy to access. The staff Mahalakshmi and Satish were very helpful and kind during our stay. I would recommend this home stay to everyone who wish to stay just on the outskirts of Madurai.

Tout notre séjour a été parfait, le seul bémol fut le lit, il serait temps de changer le matelas qui n’en ai pas un d’ailleurs. Compliqué de dormir sur un lit aussi fin et dur. Sinon, la chambre est très bien avec plein de rangement, douche efficace et Saravanaraj est adorable, il nous a beaucoup informé et aidé malgré notre anglais très sommaire. Nous recommandons ce Airbnb :)

Place was as mentioned & hosts were very friendly & helpful. Whoever looking for a cozy home stay in a calm neighbourhood, with greenery around, would find this suitable. Unlimited drinking water & basic utensils were provided. Separate place for drying our clothes & balcony sit-out with trees covered are the standout for this place. Stayed here with my family for 2 days & would definetly recommend for families.

Jeyaraman e sua moglie sono molto socievoli e cordiali. Ci hanno consigliato tante cose da vedere e ristoranti doce mangiare nei dintorni. Inoltre ci hanno aiutato a scegliere le destinazioni ed organizzare i nostri prossimi viaggi in India. Sono sempre presenti in casa ed è una sicurezza. La camera è carina e confortevole, aria condizionata, ventilatore e WiFi funzionano perfettamente. Il bagno comodissimo con anche doccia a muro e balconcino per stendere i vestiti. La privacy è sempre garantita. Ottima esperienza a Madurai grazie a questa casa e questa famiglia dove tornare per stare tranquilli.

Great Value and Excellent Service, but Not Ideal for Elderly Guests I found this place to be excellent value for the price. Viro is exceptionally helpful, friendly, and communicative, making the stay very pleasant. However, I encountered an issue regarding accessibility. The property lacks an elevator, and guests must climb two tall flights of stairs to reach the rooms. I had booked this place for my parents, and they found it very difficult to manage the stairs. Unfortunately, there is no lift support, which makes it unsuitable for elderly individuals or those with mobility challenges.
