Songbird Sanctuary

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. No nosy neighbors, but the sound of children playing nearby. Just minutes away from rafting, mountain climbing and new river gorge

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun! Memaws house is located in a quiet residential area of Oak Hill near the New River Gorge recreation area. This small well kept house has all you need. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, linens & towels, kitchen with plenty of cookware, laundry, WiFi, Smart TV, living & dining room plus a fenced backyard and a grill on the back porch to enjoy cooking outside.
