The home is as described and I can’t say a single thing bad about our stay. The driveway is STEEEP as she says, do not underestimate her words 😂 it was not an issue though. The house is beautiful, clean, great location with the most perfect upper Michigan views. I’d come back and I would 100% recommend.

absolutely LOVED Dorene and John’s getaway cabin! it’s very clean, and has a homey feel. they have anything you would absolutely need including, a bunch of dishes, towels, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and stocked on paper towel and toilet paper. their cabin is peaceful, we didn’t really see any neighbors but the group we did see were very friendly! this place was absolutely gorgeous, i definitely recommend!!

We loved staying at Navid and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful condo and setting! Very clean, peaceful and beautiful. We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed when we arrived but Navid was diligent about getting that done. It was done later that night. We would love to stay again at this beautiful condo!

Was a very beautiful and peaceful place in the woods. The hot tub was super clean, very cozy fireplace area, and the whole set up was just gorgeous. We had a really great experience! We also loved how they are stocked with all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, and everything you would need. The host was very helpful and responded fast.

Awesome stay at the Thompsonville Lodge! JT was a great host. Everything was in good order! Got a detailed guide in advance from JT with great local suggestions like Rosie’s Country Cafe. That’s another 5 star recommendation! A must go for an amazing breakfast! The whole place, including the Hot Tub, was immaculate! Kids loved the bunk bed in the loft area, and the arcade game that had a a ton of different playable titles. Great place all around, and would definitely stay again!

Everything was awesome! The place was exactly as described and very comfortable. The landscaping out back was done so well and felt very private even though the other cabin wasn’t too far away. Kyle was very thoughtful in and the goodies provided were very appreciated. The EV charger was also a nice perk! This was a great place and my husband and I would definitely visit again.

The place was exceptionally clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable.

The log cabin was fabulous. It was perfectly appointed and, even though not quite warm enough outside just yet, Bar Lake made all stress subside.

We enjoyed our stay! The dogs loved the fenced in back yard and it was in a perfect location to go hiking.

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.

Beautiful cabin! Lots of hiking around the area that was great for our dogs. Everything is under a 10 minute drive which was awesome. We got lucky with amazing weather during our stay so we were able utilize the outdoor furniture and space! The cabin itself was super tidy and clean and loved the look of it all. The hosts left us a nice bottle of wine and delicious cookies! Overall, a great weekend getaway!

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It is well away from the nearest neighbouring cabins and the driveway is about 300 yards long into the forest so completely secluded and very peaceful. We had a few visits from the wild turkeys in the evening just before dusk which was lovely. We did have one evening where we were visited by lots of mosquitoes but being in the middle of the forest it was to be expected. We bought some oil and a burner and problem solved! The gas bbq was an added bonus. A lovely stay, thank you.

Check in was very easy, door unlocked and let yourself in. Place is exactly as in photos and fully equipped with everything you need. I noticed some people saying that there isn't a mention to how close it is to her house in the backyard, but it wasn't a bother for us. Still felt private with the curtains and minimal contact. She checked in with us every now and then to make sure we were satisfied which was nice as well. I'm not one for saunas, but my boyfriend was rather impressed! Being really close to Harbor Springs and only a short jaunt to Petoskey was really nice for planning my birthday dinner. Amazing sights and exploring tunnel of trees. All-in-all, a relaxing and peaceful experience getting to relax and watch some deer (forest puppies as we call them). The only thing I could suggest to help with privacy, is to make the curtains thicker, they felt a little thin. Maureen's place is wonderful and highly recommend if looking for a get-a-way to relax in the woodsy scenery

This was a fantastic stay. Everything was clean, well equipped, and so comfortable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful as well! Danielle was an amazing host, extremely friendly and very accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely be back!

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect cozy cabin in the woods in the heart of Northern Michigan. Pam is thoughtful, generous, and a perfect host.

Such an adorable cabin. Everything is there that you'd need and more. Cozy, warm and inviting. We were in a predicament, and Erin came to our rescue. We couldn't have been happier.

This cabin was just as described . It was very secluded and peaceful. Lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities we may have needed to use per the host. Excellent get away spot and close to Cadillac if you need to get out and about. Our host was very quick to respond whenever we had a question . Would definitely recommend this cozy cabin getaway and I would love to stay again sometime.

Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! Cabin was cozy and clean. Outdoor space was great and having firewood for guests to use was a bonus! Will consider staying again, perhaps in another cabin with friends and/or for skiing!
