This is a lovingly maintained Capital Hill home in a central location that puts you close to all of the fun, excitement, and history found in the city, while providing you with plenty of space for relaxation. You’ll be located in a residential neighborhood that showcases the diversity that Washington D.C has become known for. Enjoy hanging out in the outdoor terrace after a long day of sightseeing, put your favorite movie on one of the 4 flat-panel smartTVs found in the house, or order some take-out with the Amazon Echo while listening to your favorite music. You'll walk in and immediately feel the spaciousness of the open floor plan here, with a direct view of the floor to ceiling entertainment center and bookshelf for you to peruse if so inclined as part of the living room area. You'll be able to catch the local news on the cable provided, or your favorite Netflix original. This level has a half-bath for you housed in the floor-to-ceiling center, as well as extra storage in the first-floor closet found here off the living room. Walk through toward the back of the house and you'll find the updated kitchen which includes a large kitchen island with 3 bar stools, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, including dishwasher, refrigerator, gas range, and microwave, and is fully stocked with essentials including cookware, dishware, and utensils. Between the living room and kitchen is the dining area with seating enough for your entire group or family. Enjoy a quick breakfast or an espresso before visiting DC’s landmarks, or enjoy a dinner prepared in the fully-stocked kitchen. There is a small deck off of the back of house and terrace with seating for getting some fresh air on a nice day. Your friends and family will rest in comfort in the 3 bedrooms on the second-level of the home. The Master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed, closets, and an en suite bathroom equipped with oversized Jacuzzi tub and shower with handheld showerhead. The second and third bedroom also have queen beds for four additional guests. There is a small balcony off the third/back bedroom for you to spread out and take in some fresh air. A second full bathroom is available between the bedrooms and includes a Jacuzzi tub as well for everyone's ultimate relaxation. All of the beds are fitted with sheets and thick, plush comforters to provide peaceful rest for everyone. For your convenience, high-speed Wi-Fi is available free-of-charge so you can connect with your friends and family at home, or keep up with your work emails. The home also comes with one visitor pass for street parking should you happen to be bringing your own vehicle. Guests can access the entire first and second levels of this town home, as well as outdoor space off the back of the house. Garbage and recycling bins are available beyond the back fence in the alley. I'm only a message away using the Airbnb app! The H Street corridor is a trendy neighborhood featuring many eclectic bars, independent restaurants, and boutique shops. Just steps from Union Station and the Metro, trips to the National Mall and other D.C. landmarks is both easy and convenient. Union station is the closest metro stop within walking distance. It houses the WMATA, as well as MARC train and Amtrak rail. Plenty of cabs available there as well, or relax and catch an Uber from the home. There are Capital bikeshare stations scattered throughout the city should you want to explore the city this way. Paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper will be refreshed and provided to you prior to your arrival, but you will be responsible for replenishing should you run out during your stay and need more.

Neighborhood Home near Capitol Hill Park Free, Walk to Metro

Park your car in a free off-street parking spot and walk or take the metro from this charming English basement with plenty of natural light. Stylishly simple, classic design is enhanced by exposed brickwork, and homey touches. Automatic booking is limited to 30 days, but feel free to contact us about booking a longer stay. Guests have their own private one bedroom with a full bath, living area and kitchenette. Free off street parking is available for small and medium sized cars. You will have complete privacy and use of the suite which is in our sunny basement. You will have your own entrance accessible by touchpad. We provide each reservation with a unique key code to unlock the door and control the alarm. We are available if you need us, but otherwise you probably won't see us. The home is in a residential neighborhood on the eastern side of Capitol Hill, a 30-minute walk from the Capitol and a short 10 minute walk to the metro, buses, bike share, and Zipcars. Buy food and flowers at the historic Eastern Market, or dine out at Barracks Row. You can reach the Capitol by foot (30 minutes) or Uber (under 10 minutes), but many visitors use the subway system, called the Metro. The Stadium Armory metro stop is about six blocks away (less than 10 minutes walk) and is on the blue/orange/silver line which takes you directly to the Capitol (Capitol South stop), Museums (Smithsonian stop) and the White House (Metro Centers stop). Of course the Metro will also take you to virtually any other location you hope to visit. There is also a bus stop one block away where you can catch the bus to the historic Union Station located right next to the U.S. Capitol. From Union Station you can walk to the Mall, get the metro, even take a train to your next Amtrak destination. Some guests use the "Circulator" bus which runs a loop around the Mall. You can buy a daily pass at Union Station to hop on and off the Circulator throughout the day. We we also have a bike share and zip car spot within a few blocks. Check-in is at 4, but we accommodate earlier check or luggage drop off whenever possible.

The streetcar/Trolly is free to ride, stop a block away easy transit to Union Station or beyond. Union & Eastern Markets close by. Bus line X2 to the White House & China Town.

We may have the most convenient studio apartment in DC. This lovely home is located five blocks from Union station and is surrounded by coffee shops, yoga studios, bars, restaurants and super convenient public transportation. Welcome to Historic H Street NE. Our space features a front patio, rear patio, full kitchen, washer and dryer, bathroom, automatic thermostat and plenty of space to stretch out. This home is two blocks away from to two different supermarkets and a drugstore.

Located in Historic Hyattsville, the apartment was a recent addition to our historic craftsman bungalow. Within minutes from University of MD, Catholic University and the Washington DC border, the apartment is quiet, cozy and very sunny with a private entrance as well as French doors leading out to a private patio. Located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets, within walking distance to restaurants, yoga studios, coffee shops and an organic coop.

Heart of D.C. Row House - Live Like a Local!

Modern, DC Row House where you have the main floor unit that has a modern kitchen, an office nook and a cozy back patio. Our place is close to everything you need: -4 blocks to the trendy Union Market (lots of restaurants!) -3 blocks to Whole Foods -12 min walk to Union Station -20 min walk to Cap Hill -1/2 block to Cap Bike Share Note: As of March 2025, a new school is being built behind our house so there is construction noise from 7 AM-4 PM weekdays.
