Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

The Orchid

Explore Northallerton, and the beauty of North Yorkshire, then retreat to your own quiet little pad. 'The Orchid' is a cosy, self-contained, stand alone guest space, neatly tucked away behind the main house. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen and shower room. With one double bedroom, and a double sofa bed in the lounge, The Orchid could sleep up to 4 people. Private side access through a coded gate. Fully enclosed (shared) garden, with bistro/ seating area. 10 minutes walk to the town centre.

North Yorkshire village-The Studio escape

The Studio provides a cosy, quiet escape for one or two people, in a pretty Yorkshire village with a 2 minute walk to an award winning Pub. It is self contained and benefits from it's own private entrance with key safe, off street parking, king sized bed, sofa seating and dining/work area, TV, good WiFi connection, modern shower room and access to a large garden. 15mins drive from the historic market towns of Northallerton and Richmond and close to the Dales and the Moors, Harrogate and York.

Bedale is the gateway to Wensleydale. There’s so much to do being right in town, much is within walking distance . Enjoy walking to pubs, coffee shops, quirky boutiques and restaurants, all on your doorstep. There is fabulous countryside to explore on foot or by bike. There is golf, swimming, sailing and horse riding nearby. If you'd rather take it easy, there are historic gardens and houses to enjoy as well as relaxing beauty treatments at local salons. Fudge Cottage with central location around the corner from the main st, private parking and enclosed walled sun trap courtyard. A perfect cosy cottage to explore the Dales, close to Masham, Richmond, Northallerton, just 10 mins off the A1. Plenty of walks. Tuesday market. Saturday car boot, monthly artisan market. Ideally placed for the polar express trains. The cottage has two bedrooms one with kingsize zip and link bed and one with two single beds. No smoking/Vaping No pets allowed

Situated in what’s known locally as God’s country, midway between the picturesque towns of Thirsk and Northallerton. Nicely tucked away off the main road with a long farm track taking you up to the property which looks on to the breathtaking North Yorkshire Moors. Upon arrival, you will be met with a cosy and well equipped space, making it a stay to remember. You can sit back and relax, whilst stargazing in our outdoor bath, situated in a quiet and tranquil enclosed private garden.

Located just outside the market town of Bedale, a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Exelby is a quiet village with a thriving community owned pub (the Exelby Green Dragon). Recently converted, the Granary provides spacious accommodation for 4 / 5 people (plus cot) and offers an ideal stop for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and the Vale of York in between or alternatively, is a convenient stop off for those travelling further North or South.

Greystone Retreat

A luxury rural retreat overlooking the North Yorkshire countryside. With all the modern luxuries in a rural and peaceful setting we offer a king size bed and rainfall shower. Our covered, 7 seat hot tub allows you to relax in all weather in the privacy of your own garden area. As we live here you may sometimes hear our children playing. We do not offer WIFI as the signal is unreliable. You can hot spot the smart tv from your phone or use the dvds provided.
