Shepherd's Cottage

Shepherd's cottage is a delightfully cosy annexe with it's own private entrance and own cottage garden. Tucked away on a no through road, that leads directly onto a bridleway and footpaths, Shepherd's cottage makes an ideal place to stay for those who simply want to get away from it all. We welcome 2 small dogs ( pet fee applies) and horses - with a choice of fields to keep your horse in ( additional charge of £25 per night for horses). Complimentary bottle of wine on stays of 4 nights or more.

Beautiful Restored Cottage in the heart of Dorset.

A stunning, newly refurbished and tranquil, Dorset holiday cottage. Old School Cottage was built in 1851, and was originally part of the village school. Nestled at the foot of Hambledon Hill, in the village of Shroton, rural rambles are a few steps from the front gate! All the landscape photos shown are only a few metres from the cottage. A quaint thatched cottage full of character set in the heart of this small village. Light & airy, newly decorated. A 'real electric fire' gives a cosy feel. Walking distance to village pub, and 2 miles from market town of Sturminster Newton. Great walks and cycle routes. Close to Longleat, Monkey World, Jurassic coast, Air Fleet museum, fishing at Todber Manor. Close to market towns of Shaftesbury, Blandford & Sherborne. Stables available for horse enthusiasts looking for a hacking holiday.

Rose's Yard - Annex in delightful Dorset village

A light, self-contained, first floor annex in a 200 year old barn for guests sole use, with shared use of the owners walled garden. Off road parking for one car. Self-check in. In the heart of Hinton St Mary, a 2 minute walk to the Tithe Barn wedding venue and surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside perfect for walkers and cyclists. The village pub is a few steps away and the market town of Sturminster Newton with its mill, shops, cafes, bars and takeaways is less than 2 miles away.

The Barn is a converted property located at the head of the stunning Tarrant valley within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. The third bedroom has bifold doors onto the patio and an en-suite with rainfall snail shower. TV/cinema room.

Self-contained annexe on organic dairy farm

Whether you’re wanting to have a base for a holiday with family, staying for a wedding, or here on business, I would love to have you stay at Lower Farm. The Annexe is situated on a working organic dairy farm, nestled in the most idyllic part of Dorset; perfectly located for beaching, country pubbing or long walks in the rolling countryside that surrounds. A converted barn at Cann Common next to the main house with its own garden, patio and parking area. Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

Drive to the Jurassic coast (40 mins) to explore Lulworth Cove or visit the gorgeous beach at Studland.
