The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

Situated within a well maintained, quiet holiday park and just a stone’s throw from the blue flagged beach and village of Westward Ho!, Sea Breeze has been lovingly fitted and furnished to provide the perfect coastal retreat. This stone built single story little cottage is set in a court yard that was part of the farm that supplied food for the Marquess of Bute at Cardiff Castle just half a mile away. This charming old cottage was probably an animal barn. A Perfect quiet location in the centre of the vibrant city. it has its own WIFI. Please note that it is NOT Blackweir Terrace (which is about 200 yards the other side of the road) but Google maps have overruled me! See directions after you book.
