The Little Tump is a delightful, self-contained annexe of an extended 18th century farm cottage. We are atop a hill overlooking the Black Mountains with excellent walking all around. Close to Hay on Wye, the Offas Dyke path and a half hour drive from Abergavenny and the city of Hereford. We aim to provide the feel of a luxury retreat and all that you need to unwind in absolute comfort. The Herdwick Hut

Luxury Shepherd Hut. Location on the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and within half a mile of the Cats back mountain on an Alpaca Farm. Breathtaking views.Inside you will find the Herdwick Hut has beautiful finishing's and incorporates a double bed a hob, sink, fridge and en-suite bathroom. Nestled within the heart of the picturesque 300-year-old Rock Cottage, your double room features a comfy double bed and beautiful garden views, creating a serene and restful space. The room adjoins a charming sitting room with a well-stocked library and record player, where you can relax by the wood burner and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You also have access to our plant-based communal outside kitchen [we are a vegetarian/ plant-based site]and free roam of our 12 acre rewilding project.

This simple and charming detached Bothy sits on the Wales/Herefordshire borders on the edge of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is perfect for couples or individuals, but sorry no dogs. The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

The Little House in the Mountains - just for Two!

Chill out in our love-nest made for two in the beautiful Black Mountains! The cute wooden house has ALL mod cons, complete with small, perfectly formed kitchen, a wood burning stove (free logs) and a comfy double bed with spectacular pillow views of the Black Hill. In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Plus you will enjoy complete seclusion and peace and quiet!

Oak Cottage, Llanthony.

The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.

Abbey Dore Pod

We are situated in a unique position overlooking Dore Abbey within the Golden Valley. The pod is furnished to make it light and airy with all mod cons including TV, wifi, DAB radio, a modern kitchen and shower room. Although it is modern it has a country/Scandi feel and offers guests uninterrupted views out to open countryside and the 12th Century Abbey. There is a private patio which is perfect for enjoying a coffee and taking in the Abbey and surrounding farmland.
