The Cook's Quarters is part of Camus House, built in 1685 on the site of Saint Comgall's Monastery, over looking the famous "Ford of Camus" on the River Bann. The area is surrounded by stunning hill and river views. The site is within a short drive of the North Coast. The accommodation is within the grounds of a grade B listed family home. A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

West View Beach House - Cumbrian Coast

West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Historic Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage. #1

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.

'The Hayloft' - a peaceful rural retreat for two

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast. Exposed beams, a wood-burner and a freestanding roll-top bath give the cottage a warm, settled feel, while stunning views stretch across the hills towards the sea. A calm, characterful and luxurious place for slow mornings, long walks and unhurried stays.
