Obeah Guesthouse is an old-school bed & breakfast catering to the epicurean traveller looking for a rich and intimate engagement with the music, food and drink of New Orleans. Ruthie’s Balcony Suite bears the name of our beloved family matriarch. And for good reason. It’s the best room in the house. Vaulted ceilings soar above a huge bedroom/living area, including a spacious kitchenette and full-sized bathroom. But it’s the balcony you’ll love most. Overlooking the corner of Esplanade and Chartres, it’s the perfect place to people-watch while enjoying the pot pourri of sounds that drift over from the nearby markets, jazz clubs, and bustling Mississippi waterfront.

Barbara Suite: 1 Br 1 Ba, work space + ferry to FQ

Our Barbara Suite has 1 bedroom with attached Bath and features a work space and two TVs, one Firestick enabled. I block away from the Mississippi River Levee bike and walking pathway to the Algiers Ferry, which connects you across the river to the French Quarter, Riverview Outlet Mall and Harrah's Casino. It features Individual climate control, a Keurig coffee maker, minifridge and microwave. It is 1 of 2 guest suites upstairs with an 8 ft wide hallway between them for quiet and privacy.

Circa 1840 brick building, The Balcony Suite with private bathroom was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures.. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. If you need to go to bed early, we might not be a good fit. Uniquely located, close to the Garden District, Arts/Museum District, French 1/4 and the Conventional Center

We are close to all the fun & excitement of New Orleans. We are a licensed B&B located in the Marigny neighborhood. Just 2 blocks to the entertainment on Frenchmen St. and 3 blocks from the French Quarter. Your room has a queen bed & private bathroom. High ceilings with intricate plaster detail are featured in an antebellum mansion home built in 1851 which sits right in front of the streetcar/trolley stop. A great experience to be right there on "the Avenue" under the 250 year old oak trees. You can take our self guided walking tour through the Garden District and see one home after another built in 1800's, with names of architect (if known), year built and who lived there.

The Orleans Grand Suite offers our guests elegant loft accommodations just Blocks from the French Qtrs. Your suite is equipped with a King Bed and Private en-suite bath. There is a separate sitting area with a convertible trundle bed for your convenience. This beautifully decorated gem has vaulted ceiling with skylights and quiet serine private balcony overlooking the property. A 55" SMART TV and WIF is available.
