Amber was a very responsive host. Her place was extremely clean and well stocked. She had fantastic taste in decorations and furniture. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in Burlington. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Hart house. We were surprised to arrive and see it really was right across the street from the temple. It was an amazing view, not to mention the view of the mississippi river down the hill. The home is appointed in antique and arts & craft period pieces. There was lots of room for our family of 6 too. It was beautiful and just fantastic. The weather got cold and very windy and we enjoyed staying indoors that evening and enjoying the beautiful home and view. This is not a comment on the house but Nauvoo in general for April. There is very little to eat in town. There is no grocery store in town and Keokuk 20+min away is the closest city with grocery stores. We decided we’d just eat out. Well, Casey’s gas station is the only place open for breakfast before 10am, and gratefully, their breakfast pizza and breakfast wraps are ok. For dinner, the nauvoo inn is open on the weekend but on a weekday night, the Red Front is all that’s open. Just a heads up!

The apartment is super clean and has wonderful amenities. Very comfortable, quiet, and a stone’s throw from the Amtrak train depot, parks, the post office, the movie theater, a grocery store, and downtown’s shops, coffee shops, restaurants and bars. A+++! Loved the stay. Thank you.

This historic home has a dining table for 8-10, which is just what we needed for Thanksgiving in Nauvoo

This is by far the cleanest stay I have had! Everything was cleaned and nothing was astray. Instructions for entry were clear and easy to follow. Snacks were left out which my kiddos loved the hot chocolate and popcorn provided. The kitchen was full of pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. Next time we are in the area we will be booking again. Eric was great and replied to messages fast! Overall we had an amazing stay in this cute home.

This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Carthage twice a year. It is always clean, local to all our favorite places to go.

A lovely spot for a few days in Burlington. The home is well appointed, and very well curated in design. Would definitely stay again.

We were looking to stay in a house right on the Mississippi River and this place was just what we were looking for. It is off the 'beaten path', but if you want a private, quiet, peaceful place to relax and sit on the deck, or start a fire right along the riverfront, it's wonderful!! We even got to watch the barges and tugboats go by, and all lit up at night. Our host was very responsive, super friendly, and so accommodating!

our second stay here while visiting family in Laharpe. everything was as listed, furniture upgraded since our last visit. Jordan was very quick to respond to any questions. enough space and slept our large family comfortably. will definitely be back.
