Come sleep in history! The Nauvoo Manor affords you the opportunity to stay in a Nauvoo Mormon Pioneer home! This historic home is just seven blocks from the temple and sleeps up to nine comfortably. One of only a few Nauvoo red brick Pioneer homes not owned by The LDS church. The Manor is located next to the historic road to Carthage. Rufus Abbott started building this home in 1839 and finished it in 1845 just before his family left with Brigham Young to travel to Salt Lake City in Feb 1846.

You have the benefit of a spacious family room/kitchen, two bedrooms each with a king size bed, Master bedroom has sleep number king mattress, one full bath with a washer/dryer unit and our unique binzebo to roast hot dogs or marshmallows with your family. Featuring two, comfortable King-size bedrooms on the main level and a large, spacious bedroom upstairs with 2 double/twin bunkbeds. We offer a classic, quiet country setting in a unique farmhouse that has been updated to provide all the modern-day conveniences. Come to Nauvoo and enjoy your peaceful stay at your home away from home! It is located out in the country, only a 7 min drive to Nauvoo! We are located less than 4 miles from the Nauvoo Pageant Headquarters and only 3 more to town.

Warsaw Street Retreat | Nauvoo

Location, Location, Location. Welcome to the historic Hart House, located directly across from the Nauvoo Temple, and a short walk to local shops and restaurants. The home sleeps 8 with 1 King, 2 Queen, and 1 bunkbed. Here you will be able to sit on the porch or a comfortable chair inside and enjoy views of the Temple, Mississippi River and surrounding country-side. A unique home owned by the Hart family for many generations. Period woodwork and esthetics throughout the house.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). There's a private bedroom with a queen bed and another sleeping area with four twin beds, perfect for one person or a family. Relax, enjoy nature, and take advantage of our large backyard. We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.

Nauvoo's Old Stone Church

Known as "The Old Stone Church," "The Legion Hall," "The Temple Stone Church," or "The Old Methodist Church," this building has a remarkable story to tell.
