East Nashville is famous for being the place where yet-to-be famous musicians and actors live. It's also favored by young professionals, artists, and hipsters. Plus it's easily walkable, with many attractive restaurants and bars in Five Points. A main commuter bus route into downtown Nashville is just a block away on Shelby Avenue. Short term rental permit: 2O18STRO59799 This apartment is the front unit of a one-story triplex home. There are long-term renters in the middle unit and we live in the back unit with our two babies. We love it here and hope you enjoy it, too! Outdoor space, front & backyard, is shared. This little gem of a home is perfectly located in the dreamiest of Nashville neighborhoods. Germantown is historic, hipster, food-centric, mural-filled, fun, people-watching at its best, truly walkable with a downtown skyline view from all the tree-lined sidewalks. You'll find beautiful historic homes, boutiques, restaurants, bars, yoga studios, hair and nail salons, spas, a grocery store, and lots of personality in this jam-packed little neighborhood! There are plenty of bus stops nearby, but Nashville really doesn't have the best public transit. We recommend using Uber/Lyft (about $7 to get to the honky tonks downtown). Bird/Lime Scooters are very inexpensive and are all over our neighborhood (~$3 to get broadway/riverfront). B cycle bike rentals are also inexpensive and available for rent nearby at the corner of 5th Ave N and Monroe St. Lastly, this neighborhood is just 6 square blocks and makes for a lovely mid-afternoon stroll. Please keep in mind that although this apartment can sleep 6 easily, there is only one bathroom.
