Romantic Adventure Cabin w/Hot Tub+Mountain Views

We can't adequately describe how peaceful it is to sit in the HOT TUB on the deck & watch the sunset turn the sky pink & purple over the Smoky Mountains. We purposely tucked the cabin high up against the mountainside to achieve the most incredible view! Evenings around the Fire pit w/the stars are simply magical! Guest cliff jump at the secret swimming hole, canoe the lake, hike the Appalachian trail, whitewater raft the Nantahala River, and rest in an amazingly cozy & romantic mountain cabin.

We are open! Sit in the rockers with your morning coffee, eat your meals at the kitchen table or sit in front of the fireplace all while enjoying the amazing view! The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Mateo 39D at Nantahala Weddings & Events - no pets

The Mateos (named after our architect’s little son) are 4 small and separate bungalows with eye-popping views of Lake Nantahala and the Smoky Mountains through an 8-foot sliding glass door. Each Mateo has a queen size bed, private bath, ac/heat, and a kitchenette with a Keurig coffeemaker, 4.4 cu. ft. refrigerator with freezer, air fryer, microwave, tableware, and glassware for two people. The Mateos are not handicap-accessible. Pets are never allowed – 39D is a pet-free space ($200 penalty).
