Our stay at Da Wilderness Home was nothing short of amazing! The beautiful home and gardens provided plenty of space for our large group, making it the perfect retreat. This was our first stay here, and we were absolutely blown away—not only by the incredible location (close to restaurants and supermarkets) but also by the exceptional hospitality from our host. They truly went above and beyond in every way! Our organization makes an annual trip to Uganda, and after this experience, we know exactly where we’ll be staying in the future. Highly recommend!

From the minute I booked right through to coming home nothing was ever too much trouble. Always responded when I asked questions. Beautiful home, and it felt like home. Thembo and Geoffrey were outstanding in the care they gave, the food that was prepared and the welcome home everyday Thembo gave. Animals were friendly, dogs maybe barked a little too loud sometimes at night but they are guarding the property so no complaints. We slept peacefully and comfortably. Clare arranged a driver for us who literally was our chauffeur and did not complain once with long journeys and adhoc outings. We felt very safe in his hands. We will 1000% book this each time we visit Uganda, a real gem in a beautiful country.

Just heaven in the middle of a hustling capital city and the perfect place to relax after busy day.

From the moment you enter the compound, the guard greets you warmly and directs you on where to park. Doreka and her team are ready to welcome you and oh what a warm welcome it is. The compound is immaculate! The penthouse is extremely beautiful both inside and out. There is no picture we managed to take that will do this place justice. The pool is exclusively for the penthouse guests and Doreka is willing to make arrangements so that you can use it at all times. On our first night we had dinner by the pool and our wonderful host even gave us extra dishes for serving. Our stay was so enjoyable, we were afforded all the privacy we needed and yet Doreka was still always around when we needed her. She even baked us the most amazing treats. Additionally, on the days leading up to the stay she was extremely great at communication. If there is a level above superhost, she should be the first to receive it!! Did I mention the cleanliness of the place? It is very very very clean!

Mandela's apartment is fantastic, in a quiet/safe area and close to useful amenities. Easy check-in, with Mandela there to greet me, and any small niggling issues (none big enough to affect a five-star rating) he resolved to solve ASAP. I'd definitely stay here again in the future.

Ameerah’s place is really really good and I’d recommend anyone planning a trip to Kampala to stay there. I’m personally looking forward to staying there again.

The place was really great, the surrounding and the environment was superb. The host is very friendly and reachable at all times. I would definitely book it again for my next vacation. Loved it
