Really enjoyed our stay, will be back

This was our 35th straight year of The Tangler's tour. We have stayed in many different locations. We are an especially difficult and hard to please group. We are also very needy. Each of our requests were met with aplomb and the utmost in friendliness. Angela was accommodating with never the slightest hint of being bothered. I would recommend these accommodations to anyone in need of a comfortable and cozy weekend. 5 stars really aren't enough.

Listing states 6 beds there was only five. Maybe I read wrong but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Great spot, secluded and private. Made for a nice quiet stay which was helpful. Lindsay had great communication. Would definitely stay again!

This home has it all…spacious, comfortable and full of history! We have stayed here twice and it’s the most warm and inviting place in town close to everything! I especially love having my coffee on the front porch and a glass of wine around the firepit!

perfect location. we had a small hiccup with the AC but the host was friendly qbd accommodating. we really enjoyed our stay here. beautiful home.

We loved Julia’s place. It was great four our baseball weekend. Perfect for big groups, clean, comfortable and the hosts were very responsive., and even went the extra mile to set up extra beds for us. The neighborhood was safe and beautiful. We would love to stay here again when we come back!

Dawn and Carlos were fantastic hosts. I chose their place because it's pretty centrally located among the four national forests. I brought my two dogs, and we were able to hike in all four of the forests over a three-day weekend. So if you're interested in the national forests, this is great spot for it. Dawn was very responsive to my questions, and she and Carlos were there to greet us and give us a tour of the RV. The RV was super clean, like it seemed brand new. Growing up as a tent camper, I was in heaven in this RV. And the property is great, very quiet and nestled among the trees. Dawn and Carlos were super friendly and not at all intrusive or anything. I would definitely stay here again.

We have used Airbnb all over the USA and Europe! This place is in the top3 places we have stayed in. And Sandy was so welcoming and concerned for our comfort!!!

the house is expansive for large parties to accommodate everyone. the decor is cute & eclectic! huge fenced in yard for fur babies and in a safe neighborhood. the bed & bedding was comfortable. this house has everything you would need. I will definitely be back!

Our stay in Texas was absolutely perfect, and I can’t thank our host enough for making my daughter’s birthday trip so special. The place was private, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, and even allowed us to have an extra guest over, which really made our birthday celebration even better. The stars at night were breathtaking, and the walk to the lake was so beautiful – it was such a peaceful escape. We also had easy access to hiking and exploring the surrounding Texas area. My daughter had an amazing time, and we truly felt cared for throughout our stay. If we ever come back, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend! Could never thank them enough!!

The pictures don't do the home justice...above and beyond anything could have imagined. Enough space for Thanksgiving and the kids to run around safely outside. First experience and will book again! Latricia and Larry are exceptional hosts.

Das Häuschen am See ist einfach perfekt - die Lage, die Ausstattung, die Gastgeber. Samantha und Mark haben uns herzlich begrüßt und uns bei allen Fragen sehr schnell weitergeholfen. Ob Grillen, Lagerfeuer oder Kajak fahren auf dem See - man kann so viel unternehmen. Die Ruhe in der Umgebung ist wundervoll. Das Häuschen ist perfekt ausgestattet und liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder vorbeikommen. Dankeschön!

We loved our time at the lake! The house was perfect and allowed us to have a wonderful weekend with family. We will be back!

This was the place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Best place I had stayed on while in Texas. Very clean and so easy to get to Lufkin. Saw some wildlife and met some sweet dogs that wanted to play with mine. House is as described. My pup loved the fenced in yard. They kept the grassed mowed and let me know when they were coming to do any type of work in the yard. Has a great covered parking area to protect your car from those Texas storms and the lake is just a short drive away. The screened porch was great to sit on in the evening and it was nice and quiet. Best Place to Stay if you visiting Texas!!

Great place….perfect location

The location was perfect! Diane greeted us upon arrival & provided great information. The location is a few miles from downtown & very peaceful. Everything was as described. Definitely recommend!
