Remote eco-retreat overlooking stunning Pwlldu Bay

This is a 1 bedroom cabin and is not suitable for children or pets. Vehicular access to this listing is via a farm track with 3/4 of a mile of VERY BUMPY potholes. The first thing visitors notice is “the view”. The Bunkhouse offers a unique perspective on secluded Pwlldu Bay. Atop limestone cliffs, The Bunkhouse is nestled in Wales’ first AONB. Retreat from the bustle of city life, pause and connect with the wild, and relax to the sound of the sea as the Gower coast unfolds before you.

The town of Laugharne, Dylan Thomas’s birthplace with estuary and castle is well worth a visit.

Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

Maple Lodge, Jacuzzi & Fire Pit

Lodge situated on 4 acres of land, in the countryside of the oldest town in Wales- Carmarthen. Surrounded by trees making it private, at the same time countryside views and wildlife can be spotted from the lodge. In the welcome basket you can find a bottle of champagne to unwind and enjoy in the new jacuzzi, as well as a s'mores making starter pack to prepare using the fire pit. The sound of birds carries out through the day, making our lodge the ultimate relaxation zone.

Big Cwtch Shepherd's hut was designed and built on site with comfort in mind. Our luxury hut boasts a king-sized bed, kitchen area, fridge and bathroom. Surrounded by rolling hills, the location offers scenic walks, with stunning views- perfect for rest and relaxation. Within 2 minutes walk there is a popular gastro pub. The nearest beach, Pembrey country park and Ffos Las racecourse are 10 minutes drive. Gower, the Brecon Beacons and Tenby are all within a 30-45 minutes drive and make popular day trips.

A double bed, en suite bathroom with shower and a kitchen area equipped with fridge, hobs, toaster and microwave. Pod is located in a field on a working farm, where animals can be seen from the comfort of your bed. No tv as the peacefulness of the towy valley is enough. The river cothi runs through the field and offers beautiful walks. Portable DVD player and a selection of dvds available. Wood fired hot tub. Tea, coffee and milk provided.
