Perched at 2,543 ft atop our 66-acre Appalachian farm, this private retreat offers sweeping views, peaceful surroundings, unforgettable sunsets, and nights under a sky full of stars. The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Four Fillies Lodge is a nearly 100 acre private estate available for you to explore & enjoy. Our spacious country house, located directly on Sinking Creek, is the perfect getaway space for nature lovers or anybody who just wants to relax to the soothing water as it flows by. In the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, guests are only one mile from the Appalachian Trail, and some the most beautiful hiking in the state, including Cascades Falls, are only a short drive away. Additionally, the New River, with its kayaking, canoeing, boating and tubing, is only 20 minutes away.

Enjoy the firepit and sleep under the stars on a king-size bed. A great place for a romantic getaway or to celebrate a special occasion. Please note: we do not allow children or pets.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

The best piece of real estate on the Property, this glampsite will simply astonish your expectations & impress your senses. Falling waters is off the grid, has a comfy bed, stays cool during the Summer, & is fully heated with propane in the Winter!

Set on 10 private acres bordering national forest, The Steel Nest is a quiet, architecturally designed retreat surrounded by trees, sky, and stillness. With no neighbors in sight and miles of forest beyond, it’s a place to slow down, recharge, and settle into a more natural pace. Follow the winding driveway to a secluded cabin designed for calm mornings, fresh air, and unhurried evenings - ideal for couples, friends or a solo retreat.

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023).
