Fish all night! Coffee on the porch! Come get a taste of "Old False River" in our original 1960s lakefront fishing cabin. Fall in love with retro-fabulous and everything vintage! Steps from the water, this camp sits on a 75 foot lot with a covered carport and cozy screened-in porch. The inside is super clean with central air and heat and 2 window units. There's 2 swings - 1 on the pier and 1 under the porch, a fire pit, and tons of room for a big cookout! party barge can be rented

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This is the perfect bayou getaway in the heart of Cajun Country. It overlooks Bayou Amy, which is adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin. It’s also within minutes of genuine and authentic Cajun cuisine (Landry’s and Pat’s) and local fishing and boating spots (Atchafalaya Basin). Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.
