Moongate Cottage - Renovated 18th century cottage

Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

Our home boasts a well-appointed kitchen (with AGA), fast internet, sunroom and huge windows that fill the house with light.

Bee Bole Cabin is in a beautiful location 10 min flat walk into the wonderful market town of Monmouth. Welcome to The Secret Walled Garden dating back to Tudor times. The cabin is suitable for 2 people, open living area with log burner, bed & roll top copper bath, en-suite toilet. Unique outdoor shower, heated outdoor private kitchen. Private outdoor seating areas with fire pit. Welsh cakes, Eggs, milk provided to enjoy in the peaceful countryside. We do not accept Hens/Stags, Parties or Pets.

Surrounded by woodland with hilltop views across the Wye Valley to Offa’s dyke, this eco friendly traditional Monmouthshire cottage is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its very best. Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Long Barn

The Long Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn situated above the Wye Valley, Monmouth with picturesque views over the Black Mountains and beyond. It's an ideal location for relaxing, walking or cycling straight from the door. We welcome well behaved pets. The property has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, ensuite, kitchen & lounge area and sleeps 7. Other features include oak flooring, log burner, patio & seating, BBQ & firepit. Hot tub hire is an option for a fee. The barn has an EV charger.

And is a short distance from the Wye valley, Tintern abbey and many beautiful walks within the Forest of Dean. Beautifully decorated and featuring original glass windows, period furniture, and a recently refurbished bathroom. We provide tea and coffee facilities in the apartment but we also have a private, kitchenette which is down the hall.

The Boathouse on the River Wye with stunning views

Relax and take in the beautiful surrounding scenery at Boathouse which sits along the bank of River Wye in an AONB with spectacular views across the river. There are plenty of activities/adventures to keep you busy! Including wild swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing Yat rock, bike riding, woodland walks and fishing. Welcome to our converted stone barn in the Monnow Valley. This rural retreat offers picturesque views of meadows, trees, and hills. Inside, you will discover a spacious living area with an open layout and a few *steps* down to the living room. The patio windows allow plenty of natural light and provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Upstairs are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. Both rooms have *sloping* ceilings. (Sorry no dogs)

We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!
