Very nice vacation spot for the weekend for families or friends very close to town

The house was perfect for us traveling back to the Utah Mtns. for the winter. It was super clean and had everything you would want including Debra being the best host. Property had some special features will old growth oak trees and a far view of Lake Erie. Will be back in the spring. Thanks Debra.

We stayed at Renee’s for a nice birthday get-a-way and to do a bit of fishing. It was very nice and matches the description well. The view on the water was beautiful and it was nice to have the fire nearby. I would love to come back again when it gets warmer!

Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

The loft was just as described - very nice - and the host was very responsive, and in fact provided an alternate electric heater when we had a difficulty with the gas heater. Happy with our stay in Lakeside/Marblehead!

We really enjoyed staying here, and the location was very convenient for our needs. Amy was a helpful point of contact.

Diana was extremely responsive to all of our questions. The house was in a safe area with blinds and blackout curtains to provide added privacy. The well-maintained house was comfortable and close enough to the park and beach for daily walks with our dog. The home even provided supplies like crate and waste bags for your pet. The noise from the busy street was not even noticeable inside the home. We have heard train noise in all homes where we have stayed (even our family) over the years - it’s just a given in the area. This home has the best insulation and I only noticed the train twice while sleeping. The heat works great and we even set the thermostat 5 degrees lower than we keep it at home. We plan to make this our first choice for future visits.

SO BEAUTIFUL! The radio on the wall was a unique addition that blew my mind. We found out that we didn’t have hot water the next morning but the hosts got it fixed by the time we got back later that day. Good hosts and great apartment.

This home is beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with everything you would need. We loved our stay and if we return to Sandusky, we’ll definitely stay again!
