Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

This beautiful little coach house has been recently, lovingly renovated. It strikes the balance, between having rustic charm and romantic luxury. Families with small children will feel just as welcome and comfortable as couples on a romantic break. The coach house sits at the foot of the Mendips in the beautiful Yeo valley. 10 mins from Bristol Airport. It has stunning views across an area of outstanding natural beauty. Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

Located in a small hamlet, close to Cheddar, Wren's Nest was designed by an artist as a rural retreat in a tranquil location. The accommodation has a light, airy feel and has been thoughtfully created in a contemporary style with quirky, personal touches. It is located at the end of our wildlife friendly garden. There is a designated area with table and chairs in front of the studio. A pizza oven is available to use on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement with the owner.

Mead Terrace is a recently renovated terraced cottage in the heart of the popular village of Blagdon, with views over the Lake, and amazing Mendip dog walks on the doorstep. The open plan living room has a wood burner and Smart TV. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a brand new bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine, among some of the comforts to make you feel at home. We are an ideal spot for wedding guests at Coombe Lodge, which is a 5 minute walk away.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Private parking.

Little 3 bed converted barn on top of Cheddar George, Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Countryside walks are right outside your doorstep taking you to the wonderful Mendip views. Popular location for cyclists and dog walkers. This countryside get away can feel secluded to some and mobile signal can be poor. However, the cottage has TrueSpeed fibre WiFi. 1 master bedroom with en suite (Please note this is the only bathroom) 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds.
