Atchafalaya Rage’s Cabin in the Canes

Travel one mile down a sugarcane-lined road to arrive at this self-built cabin modeled after an 1830s Acadian Village home. This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans. Bring your furry friend and take long walks around the tree-lined property, or cozy up with your loved one and bask in the privacy of the cabin.

Bayou Belle - Butte La Rose

Located in the heart of the Atchafalaya Wetlands, halfway between Lafayette & Baton Rouge, this 2,800 sqft property has a spacious living area & well-equipped kitchen. Walking upstairs, you enter a sunroom overlooking the water. One of two bedrooms has a work desk area. Downstairs is an unfinished game room with a pool table & entrance to a large deck with outdoor amenities & beautiful scenery. Bayou Belle is great for fishing, relaxing, & fellowship. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

Birdsong

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a sofa, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. There’s a double size air mattress available upstairs. The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This is the perfect bayou getaway in the heart of Cajun Country. It overlooks Bayou Amy, which is adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin. It’s also within minutes of genuine and authentic Cajun cuisine (Landry’s and Pat’s) and local fishing and boating spots (Atchafalaya Basin). With a deck overlooking the water, a comfy bed, and plenty of outdoor space, it covers all points of interest! A great hideaway spot for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families!

Neighborhood conducive to jogging, walking, bicycling on miles of shady blacktop road that parallels the bayou. Spring Bayou WMA is located just 5.5 miles away--along with boat launch, ATV trails, hunting, fishing, hiking etc. Reliable Wi-Fi (with many popular streaming services included or use your own) and a well stocked kitchen make time spent indoors enjoyable.

3V Tourist Courts @ Magnolia Cafe

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.

The River Retreat Butte La Rose

The cozy cottage is nestled along the bank of the Atchafalaya River, a few miles south of interstate 10 and half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. Drive through your own little private swamp as you enter the property before it opens up to the cottage. The front porch is only steps away from the river. Large windows line the front of the home so you will have a wonderful view wherever you’re at. It is a perfect place to relax while surrounded by nature.
