The Market Guesthouse

Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

Our cabin “Bear Necessities” is a great place to lose track of time & simply enjoy the setting. Stay inside & enjoy the hunting style cabin & it’s bear theme decorations, sit on the covered front porch or rear deck, take a dip in the pool, or soak up sun on the patio next to the pool. A perfect place to stay for work, vacation, or just to get away. Bear Necessitates is on 1 acre surrounded by a wooded setting allowing plenty of room to enjoy inside and out! The Cottage- Seales Farm

The Cottage is located on Seales Farm- a working cattle farm with views of pastures, grazing horses and some unusual sounds (guineas and lowing cattle.) This pastoral and rustic setting offers solitude- NO TV and NO WiFi . - There is a private outdoor seating area with a great view. We are a little more than an hour from Pensacola Beach, Fl. which boasts historical Fort Pickens and 75 miles from Gulf Shores, AL. Wind Creek Casino just 20 minutes away.

Make yourself comfortable and enjoy a respite from the outside world! This charming newly remodeled home in Jackson Alabama features three elegant bedrooms that comfortably sleeps eight people. It has two full baths, a kitchen, a laundry room, plus dining and spacious lounging areas. This home also features five flat screen TVs, WiFi access, and electronic docking stations in every room. For those needing to work from home, there is an office desk available.
