Welcome To the Swamp! Whiskey Business is the perfect spot to escape the ordinary city life and see what the swamp has to offer. Property is located directly between the greater New Orleans and Baton Rouge Metro Areas in the heart of the Maurepas swamp, right off the Chinquapin canal. This spacious, 1500 sq. ft. loft floor plan has been fully renovated with all the modern amenities of a custom home with a keen attention to detail. The options to pass your time during your stay here are endless!

River-Fun-Fishing Cabin

Beautiful high-rise cabin, with wrap around porch, overlooking the Amite River! Perfect for a romantic getaway, family fishing trip or gathering friends for some fun on the river. This place offers it all! Large yard for tent camping and outdoor games. Private beach, excellent for swimming. Boat lauch access available to guests. Huge, private, entertainment area downstairs with BBQ pit/grill and smoker, seating, and fire pit. Private fishing pond with motorless boat and fish cleaning station!

The Swamp Treehouse

Escape into the enchanting embrace of nature with our one-of-a-kind Swamp Treehouse emerged in the Louisiana swamps. Step inside to discover a cozy retreat where contemporary comforts meet the rustic charm of the wilderness as you gaze out through panoramic windows at the serene surroundings. Immerse yourself in the tranquil sounds of the swamp as you unwind on the spacious deck or take a leisurely stroll along the elevated walkway, soaking in the sights and sounds of this southern paradise.

This is a guest suite attached to our home. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s only a 10 min walk to Baton Rouge Main Public Library and Botanical Gardens. This space is perfect for a maximum of 4 people as it is furnished with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. This Airbnb has a full size refrigerator, a kitchenette that has a microwave, an air fryer, crockpot, coffee maker (NOT keurig), toaster and waffle maker, blender and rice cooker. Parking is available on driveway.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Close to highway, the university, and 40 minutes to either New Orleans or Baton Rouge airports. Studio apartment with convertible twin futon. 3-4 people sleep comfortably. Owner close and happy to leave you alone or help you with various things to make your stay fantastic! Smoke-friendly outdoors only! Smoking indoors prohibited. Maximum 2 pets. Cat-friendly! No unreported guests.

Marissa: Our New! Tiny Home Experience!

This tiny home has trees surrounding the property and sits off the road. Yet it is only 4 miles from I-12 interstate livingston on/off ramp. It is located close to the town of Livingston where you will find groceries, hardware, restaurants, fuel, etc. Outdoor gazebo and fire pit in common area. It is centrally located between Hammond and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. An easy drive to everywhere you want to be! Plus, it’s fully loaded with everything you will need.

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

Little Cabin House

Escape to this cozy and quiet cabin just a few miles from the scenic Amite River. Centrally located just 32 miles east of Tiger Stadium and 68 miles west of New Orleans. Come with family and friends to enjoy fishing, kayaking, and boating on the Bayou or simply to unplug in a natural setting. Peaceful hideaway offers easy access to small town amenities and local culture. Come experience the slow, sweet rhythm of southern Louisiana.

Our Little Diversion

Located on Three Rivers Island in SE Louisiana. Leave all your worries behind and enjoy the relaxing experience at Our Little Diversion. Once you park your vehicle in the Three Rivers Island parking lot, you'll hop in our 4-seater black golf cart and start your adventure. We have fishing poles, a boat lift should you choose to bring your own boat, swings and outdoor seating, and all the creature comforts you need to enjoy your stay.

Our Happy Place!

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.
