The Old Factory, Carding Mill

An historic building in the heart of Carding Mill Valley, a National Trust site. The Old Factory is the oldest building in the valley, in the middle of the Shropshire hills. Hill walks, cycling, star gazing, and wild swimming from your door, then home to the ideal place to relax. This ground floor apartment, with courtyard, is a beautiful stroll into Church Stretton with independent shops, pubs, cafes, and train station. There is also a National Trust cafe two doors away, stocked with treats.

Within a 5 minute walk you can be at two different country pubs who serve excellent food daily (currently offering a take away service).

Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen - deer grazing in the garden early morning, nesting curlews calling as they circuit the house and everything coming into bud.
