Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

A mile from Old Fort's breweries, shops, winery & restaurants. Minutes to I-40 & Black Mountain. Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock & Biltmore House are a short drive. Hike or bike the area's trails in Pisgah National Forest or fish in nearby Mill Creek. Whether a short getaway or longer stay, it's perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (kids too). Cabin w/Mountain & Sunset Views One Bedroom & Loft

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Cabin on the Ponds

Private 3 acre property with small (400sq ft) "tiny house". Ideal for 2 to 4 people. It has a queen bed, 2 sofas that fold open into twin beds; and 4-foot height sleeping loft with two twin mattresses. Covered deck; 3 small ponds; party pavilion . . Basic toiletries and linens supplied, as well as plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies. This is a non-smoking cabin! Please do not throw cigarette butts on the grounds. Several trashcans are on the property for your use.

Reed's Roost is a cozy getaway with incredibly beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located at the top of a steep gravel road on a ridge in the South Mountains of Burke County, this is mountaintop living at it's finest! After enjoying a stroll around downtown Morganton (which is open for business), soak in the hot tub with views off the back deck.
