Located in heart of Shawnee National Forest, Bald Knob Wilderness and River To River Trail , is a former orchard turned cozy hiker/biker haven. Just 2 miles down the road from Bald Knob Cross of Peace. This studio style cabin was recently renovated and has a fully functioning kitchen. Bald Knob Cabin is the ideal location to unplug and put your feet up after a long day hiking trails or traveling the Shawnee Wine Trail that flows through the cozy, inviting town of Alto Pass. Enjoy the secluded forest location surrounded by towering trees, abundant wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. The lodge is perfect for a family vacation, reunions and couples. 2 TVs with satellite, and a DVD on 1 TV (bring your favorite movies). A hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, fishing pond (bring your own fishing equipment) and an open lounging deck is available.
