Doveridge has a country pub within walking distance which serves food. Set within the heart of a Derbyshire Dales village but less than 3 miles away from the town of Uttoxeter with it's Racecourse, bars, eateries and shops We are close to the A50 and A38 providing easy links to major motorways.

Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Please note the sofabed is for under 15’ If you have 2 small children that don't mind sharing then we don't mind. The lodge is situated between the villages of Yoxall and Hamstall Ridware. There are 3 local pubs serving food, a farm shop and cafe, and a local award winning butchers, artisan bakery and gift shop all within a 30 minute walk.

You will drive off the quiet country road, up the farm track and arrive at Top House Farm where your Shepherds Hut, Hot Tub and BBQ Hut are awaiting. The recently upgraded Shepherds Hut contains a king sized bed, Kitchenette, Dining Area and En-suite Shower Room. The Hot Tub is ready for you on arrival and the BBQ Hut is the best place to settle down for the night around the fire.
