A small but special little place tucked neatly between rolling hills. Kawakawa Hut provides a simple but comfy getaway for two in a beautiful countryside. Close by lies the vegetable garden, and friendly cows graze just over the fence. Further out over surrounding farmland you can see Tongariros snow capped mountains in the distance, so sit back and enjoy. The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

Aranui Lake House

Welcome to our well-apportioned, sunny bach with a big back yard for the kids to run around (with trampoline). Clean and tidy with super comfy beds - read the reviews! It's a 2-minute walk to the lake front. Relax on the beautiful back deck at the end of your days of activities in the area. If you're a larger group and need another bach, check out the next door property, Waipoua Lake House, which is just as comfortable. Linen and cleaning is included.

Sunlit Cabin @ Forest Edge

Nestled in the heart of the farm, boarding native forest, the Sunlit Cabin offers a peaceful off-grid escape. Wake to golden sunrises over Mount Titiraupenga and Pureora Forest, enjoy breakfast on the deck, and soak up the quiet charm of farm life. Some features—like landscaping and the outdoor hot tub—are still a work in progress, but the tranquillity and beauty of the land are already fully here. No Wi-Fi, no rush, just the simple beauty of the land.

Quirky, Bespoke Dam Cottage

Ivy cottage is a unique, artistic,quirky, perfectly imperfect, 1946 workingman's cottage in Mangakino. It has a welcoming,relaxing ambiance with its original wooden floors and colorful decor. It's rustic, homely and small. Unfortunately it is not toddler friendly. Breakfast ingredients will be supplied for the first night, including free range eggs when available, homemade muesli, bread and condiments. Tea ,coffee and milk are also supplied.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.
