Caroline was very responsive and informative prior to my arrival, even providing directions to suit me. The hosts both met me at the gate and were both friendly and welcoming. Caroline showed me around The Studio which is a lovely property in a very peaceful and lovely surrounding. The property has everything that I needed and has been well looked after and clean. It was a great stay and I enjoyed my get away. Would definitely return

The most amazing stay for my boyfriends 30th birthday. So peaceful and hosts are the most loveliest most genuine people, gorgeous home made treats and we even loved them so much we mentioned it and they provided more!! So thoughtful. I could not recommend this place enough, will definitely be back. Honestly thank you so much.

We had a fantastic stay, the lodge is great and has everything you can possibly want for a comfortable stay. Every last detail has been thought of to make your stay comfortable and touches like the hamper for us and our four legged friend were the icing on the cake. Very high standards throughout and spotlessly clean. Emily, you do an amazing job looking after your guests, thank you. Feeding the cows too was lovely. We will definitely return for another visit

Beautiful spot in a lovely location. Nigel was brilliantly attentive throughout. The instructions for getting into the drive was particularly of note. It is a bit tricky but all the photos and instructions shared ahead of arrival meant we well prepared. The lodge itself is clean and spacious. Really great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Rowen tree lodge. The lodge had everything you would need for a couple of nights away. Penny did the most amazing afternoon tea for my husband’s birthday. The cakes were delicious. It is close to the main house, but it is secluded and didn’t feel over looked at all. We have stayed in a few cabins etc previously. But this one was definitely the cosiest of them all. 💯 recommend. Thanks again Penny for your fantastic hospitality. X

Lovely stay for myself and a couple of mates as a base to explore the Brecons. The lodge was very well equipped and very clean. The outside patio are was lovely to sit out on in an evening and enjoy a few drinks watching the sun set behind the mountains. There is a farm house next to the lodge which isn't clear in the pictures, but this is no way took away from the privacy of the space. In fact, we didn't see anyone for the few days we were there. Despite that, communication via the AirBNB app was fantastic. The lodge stayed cosy and warm, despite not even having to use the heating. The Welsh cakes on arrival was a lovely addition after a long drive to the lodge. All in all, I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice base to explore the local area and I would certainly go back.

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful countryside, this charming retreat offers a peaceful escape surrounded by rolling hills & endless greenery. The air is fresh, birdsong greets you in the morning, & the views stretch for miles across the valley. From the doorstep, you can explore countless scenic dog walks, perfect for both energetic pups and leisurely strolls. The accommodation is warm, inviting, & spotlessly clean, with everything you need. Rebecca is helpful & friendly, offering great tips on local walks, hidden gems, & places to eat. Nearby, pretty villages dot the landscape, each with their own charm. There are cosy pubs in Slad, Edge & Sheepscombe. Independent restaurants & cafés in Stroud, which has the famous Sat farmer's market. Painswick also has a farmer's market on a Thurs a m & hot takeaway in the p m at The Painswick Centre, which has a cafe & shop selling local arts and crafts. In addition there is The Falcon, Le Papillon, The Oak, St Michael's and The Painswick.

We had a lovely stay in the holiday park. The accommodation was very spacious for us and clean and tidy. The hot tub was a firm favourite and we loved it was ready to use from arrival. The holiday park had a great pool with a waterslide that my 5 year old loved as well as indoor and outdoor play areas, he was kept busy throughout. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food we saw others have looked good and the bar area was nice and relaxed. We would recommend to families and would be keen to return ourselves.
