Goed ingericht en gerenoveerde watermolen met voor de deur kano's en zwemmogelijkheid op een unieke plek, in het hart van het dorp, met veel oude bomen aan de Charente. Prettig huis, fijne ontspanplek, ook als het zeer heet is door de verkoeling van de beek en de rivier.

Contente d avoir fait le choix de loyer ce bel appartement pendant ces quelques jours sur Angoulême . Un plaisir d' y rentrer en fin de journée . L'hôte est très sympathique et réactif. Toujours disponible si question ou autre .

Court séjour sans souci. Les échanges avec Noemie sont très clairs. L'accueil très bien. Les chambres sont très propres,bien équipées, les salle de bain particulières sont très appréciables. Le logement est dans une impasse calme. Parfait pour notre we. Merci bcp.

Les échanges avec Ollivier ont été agréables et il s’est montré réactif, disponible et flexible. Le logement est très bien situé, sur le plateau, avec places de stationnement à proximité, dans une zone très calme, mais à proximité de tout. L’ensemble est décoré avec goût.

Sara is an amazing host who is very polite and takes great care of her hosts. The place we stayed at was so charming and peaceful which was surrounded by serene landscapes and a beautiful view. The house itself is very well decorated, very warm inside and perfect for a romantic getaway. I highly recommended Sara’s place to anyone that wants to discover the beauty of the French countryside!

Beautiful property on the banks of the Charente

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Our stay in Angouleme was fantastic and the property was exactly what we needed for three people, however you could easily fit 6 people between the two double beds and two single beds. Only issue we had was the Airbnb system said our checkout was at 11am but the host wanted it at 10am so cleaners arrived while we were still getting ready to leave. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and parking is just around the corner and parking in general is easily accessed to the house. Location is perfect.

Beautiful 16th Century Farmhouse

We had a fantastic week at La Gigon, so peaceful and relaxing, it had all we needed and more. Our 3 kids (6-9 years) had a ball in the pool and using all the games room had to offer. Judy was friendly and easy to communicate with and Jackie her property manager was welcoming and lovely. I highly recommend La Gigon and would love to return in the future.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Marie Line. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité de l'accueil, et le grand jardin avec le salon de jardin abrité. La maison est très spacieuse, et la literie de très bonne qualité dans toutes les chambres.
