The cottage enjoys a mountain view on the Wild Atlantic Way - 0.75 km from Lettermacaward village (2 shops, 2 pubs, cycle track) - Mountain/ hill walking - Elliott’s bar – Traditional music Friday (0.5km) - 4.5km from Dooey beach (Walking/ surfing) - The house is in the countryside - A car is required

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

An Teach Beag Glencolmcille, little home from home

2 miles to Cashel, Glencolmcille village (pubs, shop, takeaway, trad music). Sliabh Liag cliffs 15 minutes away. 5 minute drive or 50 minute walk to Glen Beach. Visit Folk Village, Oideas Gael for Irish language, hill walking or just relax! Beautiful scenery, lovely beaches. Wee House has oil-fired heating, satellite TV, books, garden space and board games available. A place to escape from the hustle & bustle. Mobile phone signal is limited due to hills.
