Lost River Blackbird is our treasured A-frame cabin, a family retreat from the city on 3 wooded acres in the heart of the George Washington National Forest (58,000 acres behind the property line), just a 2 hour drive from DC. INSIDE: Full kitchen, five beds, comfortable furnishings, wi-fi, and enormous windows and skylights offering abundant natural light. OUTSIDE: Wrap-around deck canopied by pine and maple trees, hot tub, fire pit, grill, picnic area, hammock, and ample outdoor furniture.

Our cabin offers all modern amenities including high speed wifi, central air, and a gourmet kitchen. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. The cabin is a stone throw from lakes and endless trails. But be warned - you may not wish to leave once you put your feet up!
