The house is just 5 minutes from joining The Annandale Way; a meandering riverside trail, perfect for long walks, runs and spotting the local Red Squirrels. There are also a number of mountain biking trails in the area to explore.

Literally a moment's walk from the scenic town centre of Moffat with local shops, pubs, restaurants & other amenities. The cottage is next to a river walk & the town, is surrounded by stunning scenery; perfect for avid hillwalkers. Only 5 minutes off the motorway (1.5 hr from Edinburgh,1 hr from Glasgow & 45mins from Carlisle) it's a perfect en route stopover but even better for a week! Welcome!

Welcome to our idyllic riverside cottage. Nestled in the picturesque Dumfries & Galloway countryside and set on the banks of Cairn Water. The area is rich with wildlife. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
