Dogs are more than welcome at no extra charge (fully fenced garden) ... with miles of hill and forest walks available straight from the door, it's their holiday too!!!. Foyers village is found in a rural location in the Highlands, on the quiet southern banks of world famous Loch Ness.

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

The south facing deck boasts arguably the best view in the Highlands, and the cabin is surrounded by a beautiful forest that is teeming with wildlife. Whether you are into mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, or simply chilling, The Drey is the perfect base for an unforgettable trip.

Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Just outside you have Loch Knockie that attracts a variety of wildlife and is great for trout fly fishing. Enjoy fishing in the private Loch nan Lann. The Cottage is perfectly situated for explore Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.
