Guest reports 3/26: Regular nightcrawlers (not green) worked for sunfish and largemouth bass. Chicken liver caught catfish. The white bass were hitting artificial crank baits You will likely not see another person unless you go to nearby state parks or wineries or to town for antiquing. Canoe & gear provided!

The Shady V Ranch cabin is located 2 miles east of Castell on about 100 acres. Breathe the fresh, clean, crisp air. Now get ready to enjoy some fun time "UNPLUGGED". Cell service is limited and there is NO wifi provided on the property. This ranch has been in my family for over 100 years. My Grandfather (Henry Hasse) first bought the land in the early 1900's. This 3-bed, 3-bath, 2,600 square feet home fits 11 and is the perfect place for friends, family, and pets to come together and create some unforgettable memories. Note lake water levels vary, but we prepare for this by having awesome beach activities. Our pet fee is $35 per pet. All use of amenities are at your own risk.
