Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Big Lake Cabin W Hot Tub/ Kayaks/PngPong/Cable/HBO

The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

Located about 4 miles to Treetops Golf Course, 3 miles to Pigeon River Forrest and 10 miles to downtown Gaylord. Come north and enjoy some mushroom picking, elk and deer viewing! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the north woods. Cabin has 2 twin size beds in the loft and a full size bed on main floor. Includes Kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a crockpot. There is a bathhouse on site with hot showers and bathrooms. Close to ATV/Snowmobile Trails and you can ride from your site. You will need to provide your own bedding, pillows, towels, cooking utensils and shower items
