Whether you're visiting the area for a weekend getaway, wedding, graduation, a JMU, EMU, or Bridgwater event, or anything else, the Martin Cottage is the perfect place to stay to experience the Shenandoah Valley! There is a 240 volt/50 amp car plug. You will need to bring your own cord.

Located in the quiet Park View neighborhood north of Eastern Mennonite University, this apt. is also just a few miles from JMU, a 15 minute drive to Bridgewater College, and a 30 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park. It features an open living/dining/kitchen (stocked with essentials), large bedroom, and full bath with washer and dryer. Guest use of the covered patio is encouraged.

Welcome to our family’s little getaway. Our 12x20 cabin sits beside a 2.5 acre pond. Savor the evening beside a campfire listening to the nightfall on our Valley or from the porch swing. The cabin is 2 story with a small but full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, microwave, & coffee maker) and the sleeping area upstairs. Please note that if you have mobility issues our place might not be right for you. Relax and enjoy being unplugged (no TV or Wi-Fi)

We will provide, coffee, cereal and milk for you to prepare on your own.
