Stay & relax in our cozy cottage with views of the rolling hills of the French countryside. Located in lower Normandy, our self catering cottage is surrounded by sweet little villages with shops, outdoor markets & more. Plenty of brocantes in the area for those who love to thrift. Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

The Little Cider Barn @ appletree hill

Nestled in the heart of the Normandy countryside, the Little Cider Barn takes pride of place in the grounds of Appletree Hill gites, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy time together. A tiny house with everything you need, luxury bed linen, bathrobes and a nordic spa all included in the price! Close to the historic town of Villedieu les Poeles, less than an hour from Mont St Michel, the D day beaches, just half an hour to some of the most spectacular coastline in lower Normandy.

Happy Valley

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

Des étangs grouillants de poissons, des zones sauvages à attirer, des abeilles, des papillons, un habitat pour petits mammifères, campagnols, souris des champs, etc. le dragon vole danser, tandis que les hirondelles plongent du haut ou regardent la carpe glisser paresseusement dans l'eau au son de la symphonie du chant des oiseaux

Ferry ports at Saint Malo and Caen 90 minutes, Cherbourg 2 hours. Pit stop, short break or longer stay, comme tu veux.

The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.
