The Cozy Cottage by the Lake

This sweet, unique, tiny house is located on Pigeon Lake, just 15 minutes from Shipshewana and the heart of Amish country, and 55 minutes from Notre Dame! It is beautiful in any season, and offers a quiet retreat for families or friends. Guests have lake access, and the public boat launch nearby. Paddle boat, kayaking, and fishing from the pier at the house are all available from this property. (Fishing gear not provided) After a day in Shipshewana, relax in the outdoor porch and fire pit area!

Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. Welcome to Cedar Lodge! We invite you to join us on our 150 acrea horse farm in SW Michigan. We share the grounds with Cedar Lodge Summer camp and Cedar Lodge Stables whose property includes a 12 acrea entirely private lake and miles of trails. Our guest apartment sits safely back off the road and allows you as much privacy as you may wish, or the ability to join in with our staff as they go about their daily routine running a farm of 55 horses.
