NY Moors' peaceful retreat - Great Fryup, Lealholm

Avenue House, in the North York Moors National Park, is a self-contained cottage - 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds), shower room, dining/kitchen, utility, living room. Dbl futon in living room. Oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave, air fryer, toaster, washing machine. Wood burning stove to enjoy, large TV and Roku. A walkers/cyclists' paradise, wildlife aplenty, or just relax. Near the Yorkshire coast, Whitby, NYM steam railway & mkt towns of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Malton.

Keepers Cottage Egton Bridge

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. In addition Malton, Pickering and the City of York. North York Moors is officially designated as Dark Skies Reserve right on our door step.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. We have a great veranda with amazing views. WiFi and a Smart TV which includes Netflix and Prime Video. Bedding and towels provided. We provide a free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. The booking includes a bottle of wine. No Pets. The property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to steps and a spiral staircase. Check in 3pm. Check out 11.00 am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.

Luxury 200 year old barn conversion in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Relax in comfort with underfloor heating and log burner fire. Both double bedrooms have smart TV’s & en-suite shower rooms. The open plan kitchen area is fully equipped and provides a large breakfast bar for socialising. The barn has a large private outdoor space with views of the moors. Pubs/restaurants/shops locally, Whitby is 20mins away together with fishing and moorland villages to visit nearby.

The Game Larder

The space is a reclaimed game larder dating from the late 1800's which has been lovingly restored and repurposed into a cosy and comfortable chalet. There are two beds, one upstairs in the loft and the other a sofa bed which folds out downstairs. There is a food preparation area complete with cups, plates, glasses etc. as well as a wood burning stove, hotub and television. The toilets and showers are a short walk away, along with a large fridge which are shared with the adjoining campsite.

Very special, cosy, really tiny ,stone cottage nestled in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park near Whitby. The Nest has a Log burner, central heating, WIFI,smart TV, Egyptian linen and twinkling fairy lights ,. Walks onto the moors from the front door , seating area outside to watch the sun go down with a large glass of wine, welcoming family pub across the road, Co-op, and fine dining pub also in the village. Train station to Whitby from the village. We welcome two dogs at the Nest.

Places to visit nearby include: Whitby, Runswick Bay (Britains best beach 2020), Dalby Forrest with miles of cycle routes and Grosmont the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway.

Come and stay in the beautiful village of Rosedale Abbey in the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Moo’s is our converted stone cottage with a lovely living kitchen with cast iron stove and a vintage country feel. A handmade turned staircase leads up to the en-suite bedroom with metal bed stead and roll top bath. Adjacent there is a spacious covered patio area with seating, dining and storage, which looks across to an outdoor patio with fruit trees seating and parking space.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.
