Enjoy slow breakfasts in your private garden, long summer days by the heated pool and cosy evenings sharing meals by the log fire. Ideally located near Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé and the historic town of Angles-sur-l’Anglin, Chenevaux follows the gentle rhythm of French countryside life.

A charming converted stable offering the tranquillity of a semi-rural location yet just a few minutes' walk to the amenities of historical Le Dorat. Set in 3 acres of grounds this self-contained property benefits from well-appointed accommodation with beautiful views from all windows towards the garden, private outside dining area & 10x5m in-ground pool (May-Sep). The lovely gardens are home to numerous fruit & nut trees, and shared by the owners resident donkeys, chickens and 5 rescue cats.

It has been sympathetically restored, combining traditional character with contemporary comfort. There are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), bathroom (with bath and shower), and open plan lounge-kitchen downstairs. All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.
