The Barrack was recently renovated and re-decorated and now offers guest all the modern amenities and appliances needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors are modern and tasteful . They retain the colonial Himalayan home charm, with elements of pine ceilings and wood framed windows .

Forester North - Farm Stay in Kanatal

The cottage is within a Kiwi and Apple Orchard with hundreds of trees spread over 4 Acres of terraced land. There is a lush green uninhabited valley below, with massive snowbound Himalayan peaks ahead on the horizon. We have Airtel wifi. There is private parking available for 2 cars. From the parking spot to the cottage, there is a gradual walk of about 90 meters. This walk is inside our orchard and not on the road. We have a caretaker and staff on the property to cook for you.

Herne Lodge 5 is a cottage located in a 200 year old heritage Herne Lodge estate. We have various places of interest in our vicinity - Shedup Choephelling Buddhist Temple, Fox's Hill, Pine Forest (Khanalti), Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, Katesar Palace, Company Garden, George Everest Observatory Ruins (Hathipaon) and The Tibetan Homes Foundation. We also offer home cooked meals on order basis. We are a couple friendly destination. Pets are not allowed.
